A piece of limestone from the Pentagon from the 9/11 attacks.

A reminder to never forget the thousands of lives lost in the devastating attack on 9/11.

The photo is of a piece of limestone from the Pentagon from the 9/11 attacks in Arlington, VA. after the hijacked plane American Airlines Flight 77 crashed into the building.

This was taken in Fort Jackson, SC at the U.S. Army Basic Combat Training Museum.  The fort is named in honor of President Andrew Jackson, a native of SC.  The museum’s exhibits recount the history of training the American soldier from 1917 when it first opened to present day.
